You Are Not Broken.
You Are Not Behind.

I’m Lisa — author, advocate, and someone who learned the hard way that life doesn’t have to look one way to be meaningful.
If you’re living with chronic illness, rebuilding after loss, or simply searching for a gentler path… you’re in the right place.

Three Truths I Want You to Know

Wherever you are on your road, hold onto these

You are not broken

Your body is asking for a different rhythm — not a verdict on your worth.

You are not behind

The timeline you were handed wasn't yours to keep. Build a new one.

You are not alone.

What you're feeling has a name, a community, and a way through.

Why I Write

Because the path I was handed didn’t come with a map. Because the people walking beside me deserved more than silence. And because somewhere along the slow road back to myself, I learned something worth passing on — that life doesn’t have to look one way to be meaningful, abundant, and fulfilling.

To Be Seen

For anyone who has felt invisible inside their own body.

To Soften the Road

For anyone who has felt invisible inside their own body.

To Light the Way

For anyone who has felt invisible inside their own body.

I didn't choose this path. But I chose what I did with it.

In 2019, a motorcycle accident changed the shape of my life. The diagnosis that followed — fibromyalgia — didn’t just touch my body. It touched my routine, my identity, my independence.
For a while, I felt like I was losing it all.
But what I didn’t lose… was my spirit. So I rebuilt — not around pressure or expectations, but around freedom, flexibility, and alignment. Today, I write, I create, and I hold space for others walking a similar road.

“I know what survival mode feels like. And I know what it feels like to finally breathe again.”

Our Satisfied Readers

"I've underlined half this book. Lisa writes like someone who's actually been in the dark — not someone describing it from the outside."

Emma & Emy Readers

"I read the first chapter at 2am after a flare-up I couldn't sleep through. By the end of it I was crying — not because it was sad, but because someone finally got it. I've never felt less alone."

Randy Readers

"I was diagnosed with chronic illness three years ago and spent most of that time trying to get my old life back. Lisa's book is the first thing that gave me permission to build a new one instead. I needed that more than I knew."
